Garlic Butter Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 cloves : garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons : unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon : dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon : Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon : black pepper
  • 1/4 cup : chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup : white wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon : Fresh or dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 pounds : boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions:

1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter.
5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
6. Sprinkle the thyme, salt, and pepper over the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
7. Pour in the chicken broth and white wine (if using) into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
8. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until the liquid has reduced by half, about 2-3 minutes.
9. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter sauce.
10. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the chicken is fully coated.
11. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
